Some Goings On

It's been a great, albeit hot summer - both weather wise and musically.  I wanted to take an opportunity to give the ubiquitous shout outs to the guys and gals I have the pleasure to work with - the guys in Long Strange Night , my own personal Blues Brothers, the Tommy Cox Band,  C Hewat Music (formally Season3),  all the katz and kittens from the Sway Katz Big Band, and all the other musicians that I get a chance to work with here and there. I would like to thank Spector Bass as well  for all their support.

2016 has been a great year so far for me on the professional level. I don't throw around the word "blessed" too often, but there is no other way to put it - I am blessed to work with folks that are not only stellar musicians, but stellar people as well.

Having said all that... the schedule has been updated - tons of new shows including a residency show at Cary St. Cafe in Richmond - The guys in Long Strange Night will be at Cary St the first Saturday of every month for the afternoon show.  Come check us out at the east coast's premier Hippy bar!

In the very near future look for the release of C Hewat Music's Strange The Way We Love EP.  Sneak Peeks of the recordings can be found at the C Hewat Music page

I am also in the process of setting my fall teaching schedule - lessons are available for Cello, Upright and Electric Bass, Beginning and Intermediate Guitar, Mandolin, and Ukulele.  I also offer one on one and small group studies in Music Theory, Arranging, Composition and Songwriting.  Check out the lessons page at www.erichollandsworth.com for availabliity and contact info.

Hope to see you out supporting live music soon!
